01The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and JobFrog for using jobfrog.dev, the JobFrog application, the job board, and our API and MCP server (together, “JobFrog”). By creating a profile, signing in, or using JobFrog, you agree to them. If you use JobFrog for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.
Organizations also sign an agreement with us (an order form or master services agreement, and a data processing agreement). If it conflicts with these terms, that agreement wins for that organization. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
02Accounts
- You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract where you live.
- Give accurate information, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
- One person per account. Staff accounts are created by an organization's admin; there is no self-serve sign-up for organizations.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, including API keys you create.
03For candidates
Your JobFrog profile is free. You own what you put in it: your details, resumes and documents. You give JobFrog permission to store, process and display that content as needed to run the service for you, for example to parse your resume, match you to roles, generate ATS-ready versions, and share your profile with an organization when you apply, accept its invite, or opt in to discovery. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies an organization already holds under its own record of you.
- Only upload information that is true and that you have the right to share. Don't upload other people's personal data.
- Working with an organization is optional and you can end it. An organization's record of you is controlled by that organization, and it can keep information it is entitled to keep.
- JobFrog isn't an employer and doesn't guarantee interviews, offers or employment.
04For organizations
Organizations control their workspace and the personal information in it, and are responsible for how they use it. In particular, you agree to:
- Have a lawful basis and any required notices or consents for the candidate and contact data you upload, import, sync or collect.
- Follow the laws that apply to recruiting and employment, including anti-discrimination and equal-opportunity laws, and not use JobFrog to make decisions on protected characteristics.
- Follow anti-spam and privacy laws for the email you send. Keep an accurate postal address in Settings → Workspace (JobFrog won't send recruiting email without one) and honor opt-outs. JobFrog adds an unsubscribe link to every recruiting email and blocks sending to anyone who has unsubscribed or is marked do-not-contact.
- Respond to candidates' requests about your records of them. Admins can export or erase a candidate from the candidate's profile.
- Not use JobFrog, or information from it, as a consumer report or for background screening.
- Keep the credentials of systems you connect (ATS, mailbox, calendar) current and authorized, and make sure you're allowed to connect them.
Fees, service levels and the term of your subscription are set in your organization's agreement.
05AI features and automation
JobFrog uses AI (primarily Anthropic's Claude) to parse resumes, explain matches, draft messages, tailor resumes and answer questions. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review it before you rely on it.
- Generated resumes are built only from facts in the candidate's profile and checked against it; candidates should still read them before sending.
- Resume scores from simulated applicant tracking systems are emulations, labeled as such. They are guidance, not a prediction of how any employer's system will rank you.
- Agents never act in the outside world on their own authority. Each organization sets an autonomy policy for every action (manual, suggest, approve or autonomous), with daily limits and a global pause, and is responsible for the actions it approves or allows to run automatically.
- Match scores assist people; hiring decisions are made by people.
06The job board
Most listings come from employers' own public job boards and public aggregators, and link back to them; you apply on the employer's site under its terms. Recruiter-backed roles are posted by organizations on JobFrog, with the client's name hidden. We don't guarantee that any listing is accurate, current or still open, and we aren't a party to any application or employment decision.
07Acceptable use
Don't use JobFrog to:
- send spam, or email people who have opted out;
- post fake jobs, collect fees from candidates for a job, or run scams;
- upload unlawful content, malware, or information you have no right to share;
- scrape, bulk-download or resell JobFrog data outside the API and its rate limits;
- access another organization's workspace or another person's account, or probe or bypass our security;
- discriminate against candidates, or harass anyone.
We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
08Third-party services
JobFrog connects to services run by others: Google and Microsoft (sign-in, mail and calendar), Stripe Identity (ID verification), applicant tracking systems your organization connects, and public job boards. Your use of them is also subject to their terms. When you connect a mailbox, JobFrog uses it only as described in the Privacy Policy, including the Google API Limited Use requirements.
09Our service and feedback
JobFrog, its software, design and brand belong to us. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use JobFrog under these terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything. We keep improving JobFrog, so features may change; we'll give organizations notice of material changes as their agreement describes.
10Ending your use
Candidates can delete their account at any time from portal Settings, which removes their login and personal details as the Privacy Policy describes. Organizations end their subscription under their agreement. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or to protect users. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) do.
11Disclaimers and liability
We work hard to keep JobFrog accurate, available and secure, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim about JobFrog is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract.
12Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the product before they take effect. If you keep using JobFrog after that, the new terms apply.
